The Northeast Ohio Braver Angels Alliance is inviting the public for an evening of connection, conversation and community across political differences on Wednesday, July 15, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Slyman's Tavern, 6901 Rockside Rd., Independence.
Community members will gather in a relaxed, friendly setting to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, reflecting on our shared history and the enduring experiment of self-government.
The social gathering is designed to build understanding and trust across political divides through respectful conversation and informal connection. Whether you're a longtime Braver Angels member or simply curious about bridging the deep divides in today's world, all are warmly welcome.
Appetizers are provided, with food and drinks available for purchase. After dinner, a Kahoot! trivia game will challenge attendees' knowledge of the country — the winner gets a free dinner.
