By order of the Council of the City of Maple Heights, sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent at Maple Heights City Hall, 5353 Lee Road, until 12:00 noon on July 23, 2026 for the Maple Heights Lee Road Gateway Enhancement Sign Project. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10 a.m. on July 16 in the City Hall Council Chambers. The project is partially funded by the Cuyahoga County Department of Development Block Grant Program, with a 35% Small Business Enterprise participation goal.
Separately, the Maple Heights Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, July 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Applications include a drive-through bank conversion at 5446 Warrensville Center Road, a barbershop conditional use on Broadway Ave., a Hope Alliance Bible Church parking variance on Stanley Ave., a children's after-school program on Lee Road, and a proposed three-story, 30-unit multi-family dwelling on Granger Rd. requesting eleven variances.
Also, the City of Garfield Heights will hold a Tax Budget Hearing regarding the 2027 Fiscal Tax Budget at 5:30 p.m., Monday, July 13, at the Garfield Heights Civic Center, 5407 Turney Road. All citizens are invited to attend and comment.
